Polyester Round Slings

Extremely popular, lightweight, easy to use, won’t rotate under load, don’t kink and have stretch to them (Nylon is 6%, Polyester is 3%) minimizing shock loading, come in a variety of widths, plies and configurations. Since they are fabric, they will cut more easily than wire rope and chain slings, have a lower max temperature use of 196F and will break down due to UV exposure. However because of they are lightweight, easy to use and have nasty broken wires to cut open you hand like wire rope slings, there is a tendency to use web slings past their useful life so always check for cuts, abrasion wear and fading from ultraviolet exposure.
