We are one of the few that stock long lengths of High performance ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) 12 strand rope. It is stronger than wire rope at 1/8th the weight. Its in the same class as Amsteel, Spectra and Plasma Dyneema.

3/16" in 2500' reel

1/4", 3/8" & 1/2" in 2500' & 5,000' reels

5/8" & 3/4" in 1800' reels

1", 1-1/4", 1-1/2" & 2' in 800' reels

Because it's braided, not twisted it won't rotate when loaded.  It rolls up into a small coil and won't kink like wire rope. It has limited stretch if used at least at a 7:1 design factor. It's important to store these lines away when not in use and avoid getting them dirty or running over them with equipment.

We are selling a lot of this rope for replacing wire rope winch lines for marine and commercial fishing; soft shackles for vehicle recovery and helicopter long lines.

If the ends get damaged on slings, bridles or long lines, we can shorten, splice and re-certify them so they can be put back in use.
