5/8" High performance synthetic 12 strand rope is stronger than wire rope at 1/8th the weight. Because it's braided, not twisted it won't rotate when loaded.  **We now wrap both eyes w/ special braided polyester and then rubber dipped to have double protection against ground dragging, (see pictures above). It rolls up into a small coil and won't kink like wire rope. It has limited stretch if used at least at a 7:1 design factor. It's important to store these lines away when not in use and avoid getting them dirty or running over them with equipment.

If the ends get damaged, we can shorten, splice and re-certify them so they can be put back in use.
